Michael Pietig

Michael is responsible for the Marketing & Communications activities for the Globalance Bank. 

He is a senior marketing professional with 20 years of experience working in branding, marketing and communication. Before joining Globalance, Michael was responsible for the global brand management team incl. management, development and implementation of the Hilti brand around the world and the consulting of business units on the marketing communication of new product launches and strategic communication campaigns. 

Prior to joining Hilti Michael was Head of Global Branding & Advertising at ABB. Next to the global branding role Michael was responsible for corporate events and advertising campaigns. He also drove the communication and 360° activation of the partnership with “Solar Impulse” and joined them on the journey all the way from Abu Dhabi to Hawaii. 

At the global brand consultancy Interbrand he consulted many leading national and international brands on brand creation, implementation, management and evaluation.

He Michael started his career at the Deutsche Telekom in Bonn, where he was responsible for international sales marketing. Next to the development and implementation of an international shop concept across more than 11 markets he supported the exclusive iphone launch in Germany.

Michael studied international marketing at the university of applied science in Muenster, Germany.
