MARIOS BACKGROUND
Mario Contartese is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsible for the operational processes and developments of Globalance Bank. These include the following areas:
• Digitization, IT, Operations and Logistics
• Human Resources
• Risk Management, Legal Services & Compliance
• Project Management
Prior to joining Globalance Bank, Mario Contartese held various positions at UBS AG. He worked as a Business Analyst on the staff of the Group CEO and CEO Wealth Management. He was Chief of Staff of the Group Chief Operating Officer and Head Group Corporate Services. He helped to shape the centralization of IT, Real Estate & Procurement, Communications & Branding and Human Resources. As part of UBS’s 150th anniversary, he was responsible for the Communications & Branding project and gained international and interdisciplinary experience. Prior to joining UBS, he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management in the Balanced Portfolios Team.
Mario Contartese graduated in Business Administration from the University of Zurich with a Master of Arts.
