Barbara Fry: Gender Diversity: how companies and professionals can drive change.
Barbara combines her training as an economist with a vast experience in communications management to help companies shape inclusive cultures that attract and nurture diverse talents.
In her presentation, Barbara will draw from latest research on gender inequality in business, discuss some of the main reasons for today’s underrepresentation of women in finance, and present solutions and best-practice examples on how to overcome the barriers to change.
Barbara will cover both institutional strategies to promote diversity in the workplace as well as practical tips for the individual professional. She will also share insights from behavioral science on how to address unconscious biases, which often act to reinforce the status-quo.
Barbara is a Swiss national with a successful international track record. She’s experienced as trusted advisor both as inhouse functional lead and as consultant. In 2015, she founded her consulting firm Barbara Fry Consulting (www.fry-consulting.com). Barbara holds an MA in Economics, an EMSc in Communications Management, and recently completed an executive program on behavioral science at Harvard Business School.
